Orbit class
Low Earth Orbit (LEO)
Circular orbits below 2,000 km. Where the ISS, Starlink, and most Earth observation satellites live.
11,392 cataloged objects in this orbit class.
Low Earth Orbit (LEO) covers altitudes from roughly 160 km to 2,000 km. Satellites here move fast (~7.8 km/s) and complete an orbit every 90–110 minutes. The vast majority of cataloged satellites live in LEO — including the International Space Station, the Hubble Space Telescope, all Starlink satellites, OneWeb, Iridium, Planet imaging cubesats, and the bulk of debris.
