What's overhead right now
Use your location or enter a ZIP / postal code to see every bright satellite currently above the horizon. Updated every 5 seconds — positions are computed in your browser, your location never leaves your device.

How this works
We pull TLEs from our cached catalog (refreshed every 3 hours from CelesTrak), then propagate ~300 bright objects through SGP4 in your browser and check which ones are above the local horizon. “Visible to the naked eye” also requires the satellite to be sunlit while you're in dark — best window is the 90 minutes after sunset or before sunrise.
